Man dies in crash between four motorbikes and car

A motorcyclist has died and three others are seriously injured following a crash between four motorbikes and a car in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire Police said the collision happened on the A36 at Knook, near Warminster, at about 10:30 BST on Saturday.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 60s, died as a result of his injuries, while the other three remain in hospital.

A road closure between Deptford and Heytesbury will remain in place into the early hours of Sunday, the force said.

Drivers have been advised to seek alternative routes and avoid the area.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
