Fleet of 100 new e-bikes launched in Oxford

A fleet of 100 new e-bikes is now available for people to hire in Oxford.
Voi, which also introduced e-scooters in the city in February 2021, said the new bikes would be available for anyone aged 16 or over.
They can be borrowed from existing e-scooter parks around the city.
Liz Leffman, leader of Oxfordshire County Council, said they would offer "more opportunities for people to move around Oxford easily".
"I’m very excited that the city is now benefitting from public bike hire that can be easily accessed and presents the chance to use e-bikes in city travel without cost being an obstacle,” she added.
Similar schemes have been launched in other UK cities including Bristol, Peterborough and Liverpool.
