Murder arrest after man dies in stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a stabbing in Birmingham.
A 48-year-old man was found injured in Uplands Road, Handsworth, shortly before 22:00 BST on Saturday, and was confirmed dead at the scene.
A 43-year-old was arrested and remains in police custody for questioning, said West Midlands Police.
"We are in touch with the man's family and they are being supported by our specialist officers at this tragic time," the force said in a statement.
A spokesperson added the force was not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and that patrols would take place throughout the day.
