Plans for 31 new homes near park and ride site

A developer has revealed plans to build 31 new homes alongside a new park and ride site on the edge of Hereford.
The properties will be built at Clubtail Drive, near the A49, as part of Bloor Homes' Holmer development scheme, totalling more than 600 homes.
The latest additions will be a mixture of maisonettes and apartments, including 15 one and two-bedroom flats in three-storey blocks, as well as 15 two-bedroom semi-detached houses.
Bloor Homes said it plans for the homes to be occupied by key workers, but did not reveal any more details.
Access to the neighbouring "park and choose" facility would be from Hedgerow Way, where 100 spaces will enable travellers to swap their cars for a bus or bike ride into the city.
Bloor gained planning permission for the park and choose area, which will be the largest of its kind in the city, in April 2021.
It will also include five disabled parking spaces and 10 electric vehicle charging spaces, along with 16 allotments immediately to the south.
Bloor's current application does not mention any qualifying criteria for future occupants of the new properties, however it said key workers were currently accommodated in a large number of rental properties across the central area of the city.
The application added that the relocation of key workers to the accommodation at Holmer would help to address the shortage of rental properties in the area.
The developer said it "will work with the council to agree the necessary contributions" to local infrastructure as part of any deal to approve the scheme.
Herefordshire Council has been asked about its plans for the park-and-choose site, which it will take over once built.
