The body of Owen Fairclough, 21, was found near Risley Lane in Breaston, Derbyshire, on 23 June 2023.

David Oswald, 31, of Granville Square in Birmingham, and another man, who cannot be named for legal reasons and is being referred to as Man A, were found guilty of murder and possession of an offensive weapon at Derby Crown Court on Tuesday.

The defendant, known as Man B, denies Mr Fairclough's murder.

Jack Towell, 22, of Castle Boulevard in Nottingham, pleaded guilty to murder and possession of an offensive weapon during the trial.

The jury previously heard Mr Fairclough arrived in Breaston on 21 June 2023 and was met by Towell, who lured him to a "secluded spot" where Oswald and Man A were "lying in wait".

His body was found by a group of teenagers in a stream with fatal injuries two days later.

Oswald, Towell and Man A will all be sentenced at the conclusion of the trial.
