The family of a 24 year-old man, shot and killed on a city street, have described him as a "loving, caring, family-oriented person."
Neo Graham was shot in Eastfield Grove in Wolverhampton on Tuesday afternoon. Five men, aged between 19 and 48, were arrested in Birmingham on Wednesday on suspicion of his murder murder.
One man has since been released and would face no further action, West Midlands Police said. Officers have been given more time to question the remaining four.
"We are shocked and devastated at the tragic loss of our dearest Neo," his family said in a tribute.
Mr Graham was a "wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend," they said, thanking the 200 people who attended a vigil in his memory or who had sent flowers.
"We appeal for any information that can lead to the arrest and successful conviction of the perpetrators who robbed us of Neo."
Police earlier said a second man had received hospital treatment for gunshot wounds.
"A young man has tragically lost his life and we've teams working round-the-clock to establish exactly what happened and why," said Det Supt Shaun Edwards.
"We are making good progress in our investigation and we'd continue to ask anyone with information to contact us."
The force set up a dedicated website where members of the public could send information, or photos and videos from mobile phones, doorbells or dashcams.
