A driver has died after a crash involving five vehicles on a motorway in South Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision, on the southbound carriageway of the M18 near junction 6, at about 10:45 GMT on Wednesday.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, according to South Yorkshire Police.
The motorway was closed in both directions between junctions 6 and 7 while investigations were carried out, but had since reopened, officers said.
A force spokesperson appealed for any witnesses, or anyone who had dashcam or CCTV footage from the scene at the time of the collision, to come forward.
