A man convicted for a number of historical sexual offences against four boys has been jailed.

Martin Wynne, of Old Hall Drive in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, was found guilty of three charges of indecency with a child, 17 of indecent assault on a boy under 16 and one of assault with intent.

The 50-year-old appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday where he was jailed for 14 years and placed on the sex offenders register for life.

During the hearing, he was told he must serve half his sentence before he can be released, with the rest spent on licence.
