A Jersey musician is set to perform in front of a home crowd during the Battle of Flowers Parade.
Organisers said tribute act UK Queen would headline the Moonlight Parade on 10 August.
Band member Johnny Senett, who performs as guitarist Brian May, was born in Jersey and will be heading back to the island for the performance.
He joins other acts already announced for his year's festival including Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder, who will headline the Grand Day Parade on the opening day, and former Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow, who is doing a concert at the Lower Park on the final day.
The event, a floral parade that takes place annually in Jersey, is on from 9 to 11 August.
Organisers have also announced an island-wide roadshow will be held in the run-up to the festival.
Brooke Le Breton, the roadshow's organiser, said she hopes it will create a closer connection between the festival and supporters.
"The roadshow is a fantastic opportunity for us to meet fans face-to-face, offer personalised ticket advice, and make the ticket purchasing as smooth as possible," she said.
