A football fan has visited every club in England's top seven divisions in aid of charity.

Jack Scadden, from Taunton in Somerset, has spent much of the past seven months travelling to 164 different stadiums to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.

He visited all of the Premier League grounds in 20 hours, while the Championship stadiums took 36 hours.

During an emotional finale, Mr Scadden finished at his local club Taunton Town FC.

"It's been an amazing adventure," the 26-year-old said.

Mr Scadden is a West Ham fan and the club's London Stadium was unsurprisingly his favourite stop.

He said he was also impressed with Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium and Oldham Athletic made him feel very welcome.

He added: "It's taken over my life - I had to work part-time hours to be able to travel the country."

The epic adventure took him as far north as Carlisle's Brunton Park and through several national parks.

"It was great travelling across the Peak District and the Lake District - seeing those views." he said.

Some of Mr Scadden's closest friends joined him to help with driving.

He said: "It was tough - some of the stadiums were hours apart."

He has now raised £1,800 for Children's Hospice South West, but hopes donations will continue to come in.

"They [the hospice] do such amazing work - the care they offer children is amazing," he said.

Mr Scadden is also hoping his efforts will see him set a new Guinness World Record.

"They told me to get in touch once I'd finished and then I can submit all the evidence," he added.
