Appeal after fireworks and flares go off in tunnel

Police have appealed for information after flares and fireworks were allegedly set off in a city-centre road tunnel.
The West Midlands force said it received a number of calls about the nuisance in St Chads Queensway on the A38 about 17:15 BST on Saturday.
Motorists got out of their vehicles and "dangerously" ignited pyrotechnics, causing a short period of congestion before they drove away, officers said.
"It was understandably upsetting and worrying for other motorists, and we are keen to find the people responsible," a police spokesperson added.
TikTok videos said to have captured the incident showed a series of bangs, smoke rising from the tunnel's entrance and distressed motorists and passengers caught in queues.
Police added "this kind of behaviour on our roads simply won't be tolerated" and said they would take action against drivers who broke the law.
Witnesses were urged to send dashcam and mobile phone footage to a police reporting portal, external.
