Jewellery worth about £20,000 has been stolen from a car in Cheadle, police have said.
Staffordshire Police said it was called to Tean Road at 17:25 GMT on 14 November, following reports that two men had broken into a car and stolen jewellery, before driving off in another vehicle towards the town centre.
It said a box containing silver jewellery was stolen and two other cabinets discarded at the scene.
The force is appealing for witnesses and doorbell, dashcam and CCTV footage.
