The Princess Royal is to visit Jersey, the Lieutenant Governor has announced.

Vice Admiral Jeremy Kyd said Princess Anne was scheduled to carry out four engagements during a visit on 4 and 5 November.

She is due to unveil a portrait of King Charles III and Queen Camilla to commemorate their visit to the island last year and mark the centenary of the Jersey branch of the Royal Air Forces Association.

The princess will also visit the newly-refurbished Jersey Opera House where, as patron of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, she will attend a lecture titled Celebrating the Rewild - our World Strategy 2017-2025.
