The Princess Royal visited a company in East Sussex which was awarded an award by the King earlier this year.

Princess Anne went to St Leonards-based Focus SB, which won the King's Award for Enterprise for International Trade in April.

The princess visited the factory on Wednesday and was given a private tour by staff.

Focus SB, which started trading in 1979, is a British manufacturer of electrical accessories.

Focus SB's managing director Gary Stevens met King Charles in June to celebrate winning the award.

Mr Stevens said: “It’s a huge honour for an SME based in Hastings to have the recognition of a King’s Award, one of the most prestigious awards a company can be bestowed."

He added: "Meeting the King at Buckingham Palace and then to have a visit from Anne, The Princess Royal is a huge boost and reward for every single employee at Focus SB."
