Witnesses are being sought after a man suffered serious injuries in a crash in Leicester.
Police were called to Gipsy Lane just before 17:30 GMT on Tuesday following a collision between a silver Ford B-Max and a silver Skoda Fabia.
The driver of the Skoda, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he is being treatment for serious injuries.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink/drugs and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
She has been released under investigation.
Investigating officer Det Con Anna Andrew said: “I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision occurring.
"I would like to speak to anyone with a dashcam in their vehicle.
“Likewise, I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but who has not yet spoken to police to come forward. Any footage or information you’re able to provide could help.”
