A landscape artist has captured Guernsey islanders in live art paintings.
Tony Parsons, from Sussex, painted Rocquaine Bay in front of the Imperial Hotel on Tuesday.
He was joined by local artists as they each painted the coastline, with Tony’s artwork featuring a number of walkers and their dogs.
Mr Parsons said people were “wound into the painting” to create "a natural and atmospheric" piece.
“Everyone’s going to remember it, that’s the key thing,” he said.
It is his second time painting on the island, which he said was “terribly exciting” because he was able to combine the textures of the sand and seaside.
He said he hoped to capture life and live events by including local islanders in his works.
Mr Parsons said he was aiming to create 25 paintings across different locations around the island ahead of his exhibition.
He is due to be painting at beaches, including Petit Bot and Bordeaux, and has invited people to be in the pictures.
His public exhibition is taking place on Saturday at Fermain Valley Hotel from 10:00 BST.
