Hospitality workers have weaved their way through the streets of central London at the 50th Soho Village Fete and Waiters' Race.

The challenge saw them carrying a tray replete with champagne bottle, glass and ashtray, which they were not allowed to drop.

The event was celebrating its golden jubilee, with the first one taking place in 1975.

Amid stiff competition, the contest was won by Stefan Moise, of Ham Yard Hotel.

This story was changed on 22 July following updated information from the Soho Society about the winner of the race.
