A family area has opened at Jersey Airport designed to entertain young children while families are waiting for their flights.
Ports of Jersey said the puffin-themed area had opened in the Departures Hall opposite the cafe, with more entertainment to be added in the near future.
Sarah-Louise Stubbs, head of customer experience, said young people would be able to "relax, draw, and read a selection of books before their flights".
"We will be adding more activities to this facility in the coming weeks and would be glad to hear any ideas from young people and their parents about what they would like to see," she said.
Improve services
Ports of Jersey said the family area was created with advice and support from the charity Brighter Futures.
Fiona Brennan, CEO of the charity, said: "It's encouraging to see that Ports of Jersey is considering the experience of families in their designs for the new departures hall, and I'm pleased we could help.
"We look forward to working with Ports of Jersey, as we are committed to working with other organisations to improve services for families in Jersey."
The opening follows the announcement in December that the viewing deck, which was an area popular with families, would become a premium lounge this year.
