Keen night owls have spotted the Northern Lights across the East of England once again, with stunning pictures taken as far south as Buckinghamshire on Thursday night.
The Met Office earlier said the lights, also known as aurora borealis, would probably be seen over Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Weather forecasters had advised that the relatively clear skies would create a good chance of seeing the phenomenon.
Anyone keen on capturing the beautiful colours is advised to use a long exposure camera to capture the auroras, as it is not always visible with the naked eye.
