Man charged with attempted murder over shooting

A man has been charged with attempted murder, after another man was shot in Birmingham.
The shooting happened in Villa Road, Lozells, on Sunday morning, West Midlands Police said.
A man in his 30s remained in hospital on Friday with injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening, the force said.
Ahmed Hussen, 25, from Aston, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and is due at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
