Man, 80, charged with sex offences against two boys

An 80-year-old man has been charged with 35 sexual offences spanning over 20 years.
The allegations against David Preedy, from Park Avenue in Burnley, relate to two boys, with the youngest being 13 at the time of the alleged offending, Lancashire Police said.
They are alleged to have taken place between 2001 and this year and include indecent assault and paying for the sexual services of a boy.
Mr Preedy is due to appear at Burnley Magistrates' Court on 31 October.
