SUV driver arrested as man in 70s killed in crash

An SUV driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a motorcyclist died in a collision.
Cambridgeshire Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Hilton Road and Connington Road near Fenstanton at about 21:45 BST on Wednesday.
A man in his 70s from Cottenham died after his yellow Kawasaki motorbike was in collision with a blue SUV heading towards Hilton.
The SUV driver, a 27-year-old man from Fenstanton, was uninjured and has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drugs.
Det Sgt Craig Wheeler said: "Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the gentleman who tragically lost his life in this collision and his family are being supported by our family liaison officers."
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage.
