Brothers jailed for attacking man in his home

Three armed brothers who burst into a man's home and attacked him have been jailed.
Daniel, Dean and Joshua Peacock were carrying a hammer, scaffolding pole and bat when they forced their way into the Worksop property on 8 July, Nottinghamshire Police said.
A man in his 30s, known to the brothers, was left with a fractured skull after he was struck on the head.
On Tuesday, Daniel Peacock, 41, of Yeoman Close, 38-year-old Dean Peacock and Joshua Peacock, 32, both of Campbell Close in Worksop, were jailed after admitting aggravated burglary with intent.
'Neighbourhood dispute'
A judge handed Daniel and Dean Peacock sentences of six years and nine months in prison, while Joshua Peacock was jailed for six years.
The brothers were captured on mobile phone footage inside the home, police said.
A woman and a number of children were also inside the home, the force added.
Det Con Michaela Williams said the man's injuries "could easily have been even more grave" than they were.
She added: "We believe this attack may have been the result of a neighbourhood dispute.
"Whatever their motivation, the level of violence displayed by the three brothers was completely unacceptable.
"They entered the victim's home while children were present, swinging weapons and threatening the man.
"He was then struck to the head with a weapon which caused a serious head injury."
