Police are hunting a lorry driver charged with causing death by dangerous driving after he failed to attend court.

Serhii Serheiev, a Russian national, was due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The 64-year-old faces the count in relation to the death of motorcyclist David Martin Ingram on the A1(M) southbound on 15 June 2022.

Mr Ingram, 57, died at the scene between junctions 36 for Warmsworth and 37 for Marr after his Honda VFR 800 motorbike crashed into a HGV being driven by Mr Serheiev, who was arrested at the scene and initially taken into custody.

South Yorkshire Police said a warrant had been issued for Mr Serheiev's arrest.
