Man dies after motorcycle crash near junction

A man in his 60s has died after a crash involving a motorcycle.

Police said they were appealing for information after the incident, which happened on Tuesday shortly before 22:40 BST on the A523 in Waterhouses, Staffordshire.

They said the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash close to the junction with Stony Lane near Calton.

Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended, but the man died at the scene, police said.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Anyone with information or video footage was urged to contact Staffordshire Police.
