Cineworld has announced it is to close its multiplex cinema in Nottingham city centre.
The firm said the 14-screen cinema in The Cornerhouse entertainment complex would close after screening its final film on Sunday 2 February.
Cineworld said the Nottingham cinema was closing as part of a UK-wide restructuring of its business.
The company described the closure as "disappointing".
A statement on Cineworld's website said: "After years of providing movie lovers with a place to feel more, we regret to inform you that, following the landlord's decision to reject our proposals, we will be closing Cineworld Nottingham on February 2.
"We appreciate this is disappointing news."
It thanked customers who had used the cinema over the years.
The company has also announced its cinemas in Castleford, Leigh, Northampton, Middlesbrough and Poole will close on Sunday.
