Two people charged after a building was allegedly damaged during a rooftop protest have appeared in court.

Police were called to reports that trespassers had accessed the roof of electronics firm Keysight Technologies in Winnersh, Berkshire, on Wednesday.

Cristy North, 38, of Castle Boulevard, Nottingham, and Sita Augustine, 20, of Harrow Road, Nottingham, were each charged with a count of aggravated trespass, possessing articles with intent to destroy or damage property and criminal damage.

They appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on Friday and bailed to appear at Reading Crown Court on 16 December.
