Driver seriously injured in A43 crash with lorry

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision near Kettering

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash involving a car and a lorry.
Northamptonshire Police was called to reports of the collision near Kettering on the A43 northbound at Stamford Road, between Rockingham Road and junction seven of the A14, at 13:35 BST on Monday.
The driver of a VW Touran, a man in his 30s, suffered life-threatening head injuries and remains in hospital.
A child in the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to contact them.
