A woman in her 70s had to be rescued from a river in Devon after being being involved in a collision with a van, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called out after reports of the incident on Market Road in Tavistock at 14:45 GMT on Monday.
Fire crews used a triple extension ladder to rescue the woman who had fallen "approximately nine feet", Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.
"The woman was able to climb the ladder with assistance from fire crews and was taken to hospital by ambulance," the service said.
The driver of the van was also treated for their injuries, it added.
Police said the woman was not believed to be "seriously injured", adding inquiries into the incident were "ongoing".
