Plans for a new 700 home development near Wolverhampton have been proposed with nearby residents invited to give their views.

The homes will be built off Wrottesley Park Road in Perton, south Staffordshire. Developer Barberry (Perton) Ltd is seeking views before submitting a planning application next year.

Homes would comprise a mixture of private housing with a proportion of affordable homes, shared ownership and first homes, the proposal said.

Two access points off Wrottesley Park Road are proposed and the consultation, external, which closes on 22 December, said the proposed development would provide "generous" public open space.

There would also be a separate emergency access onto Pattingham Road.

New cycle and pedestrian links would link the new development to Edgehill Drive.
