A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed.

The "isolated incident" happened on Kensington Road in Morecambe at about 18:45 BST on Saturday, Lancashire Police said.

The victim, who has not been named but is in his fifties, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

On Monday a 17-year-old boy from Billinge, St Helens, was arrested and remains in custody.
