A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after reports of a robbery and the discovery of a machete in Nottingham.
On Wednesday police said they were alerted to a group of youths trying to take an e-scooter by threatening the owner with a knife in Robin Hood Chase in St Ann's.
After detaining a suspect, officers searched the area and found the large knife in a bush.
The 13-year-old detained was then arrested on suspicion of robbery and possessing a knife in public.
Police said the investigation was still ongoing and appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
