Man charged with kidnap and sexual assault of girl
A 40-year-old appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court charged with sexual assault and kidnap

A man charged with the sexual assault and kidnap of a seven-year-old girl has appeared in court.
The 40-year-old was arrested following an incident that took place on Monday on Lambton Road in Middlesbrough, police said.
He appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody until his next hearing at Teesside Crown Court on 2 October.
Cleveland Police said it had received no further reports and there was "no wider threat to the public".
