Three men have been arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted in a park, police said.

Officers said the attack took place at Sutton Lawn, in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, between 21:00 BST and 22:00 on Sunday.

Two men - aged 23 and 24 - have been arrested on suspicion of rape, and a 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three have since been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues, said police.

The force has urged anyone who was in the area at the time, and could have information about what happened, to get in touch.

It added patrols were under way in the area to offer support to those who may have concerns after the attack.
