A violent robber is wanted by Lincolnshire Police after he failed to turn up to be sentenced for attacking a couple in their home.
Luke Saddington, 36, broke into the couple's bungalow in Wragby in the early hours of 5 January 2018, accompanied by Simon Noble, 35.
Lincolnshire Police said the pair subjected the couple – both in their late 60s – to "a prolonged attack", before stealing guns, jewellery and cash.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Saddington, from South Yorkshire, after he failed to attend Lincoln Crown Court on Friday and was jailed for 14 years in his absence. Noble, from Nottinghamshire, was jailed for 11 years and eight months.
Tied up
Police said the couple had been asleep in bed when a brick was thrown through a bedroom window, injuring one of them seriously.
Noble and Saddington entered through the window, before one of them hit one of the residents with a baseball bat, knocking them unconscious.
The victims had their hands tied with a cable. One was held in the bathroom, while the other was forced to get the keys for a safe and a gun cabinet.
Four shotguns were stolen, along with sentimental jewellery and cash. Noble and Saddington made their getaway in the victims' car, which was abandoned a short distance away.
A police spokesperson said Noble and Saddington were pulled over in another vehicle several hours later. They were found in possession of a baseball bat and a quantity of cash. Noble was wearing muddy clothing.
Noble, of no fixed address in the Worksop area, previously admitted aggravated robbery part-way through a trial in January.
Saddington, of Norwood Avenue, Maltby, was found guilty of the same charge by a jury. A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said officers were "making efforts to locate and apprehend him".
