A third teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 16-year-old suffered serious injuries.
The boy was wounded at the junction of Weedon Road and Spencer Bridge Road in Northampton between 16:45 BST and 17:30 on Sunday.
A 15-year-old and 16-year-old, both from Northampton, were also arrested on suspicion of murder earlier this week.
Northamptonshire Police said those two boys, and the third, a 16-year-old arrested on Wednesday, had been released on conditional bail.
The force said the victim was airlifted to hospital, where he remained.
Officers previously said the incident was an "altercation involving knives".
