Tributes to 'vibrant young lady' after fatal crash

Wadzanai Nyasha was a "vibrant young lady, full of life", said her family

A family have paid tribute to a "vibrant happy soul" who died in a crash on the A1.

Wadzanai Nyasha, from City Mills, Bradford, died when the blue Suzuki Swift she was driving left the road at Wothorpe, Peterborough.

The body of the 24-year-old was discovered by a jogger at about 07:20 BST on 6 April.

"The news of the accident has left an immense void in our hearts," her family said in a statement.

Ms Nyasha was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, near Stamford, Lincolnshire.

Police said they believed it happened between 5 April and the early hours of 6 April.

Her family said: "Wadzanai Nyasha was a vibrant young lady, full of life and [she] had so many goals and aspirations.

"She was always bubbly and was such a happy soul. Sadly, her dreams have been shattered and her life cut short.

"As a family we are appealing to the public to assist with any information you may have witnessed. Any information you provide will be useful to aid with the investigation by the police."
