Man in 70s in hospital after bus station assault

A man in his 70s was taken to hospital after he was assaulted at a bus station in Leicester, say police.
Leicestershire Police said officers were called to Haymarket bus station, on Charles Street, by East Midlands Ambulance Service at about 20:45 BST on Friday.
The force said the man was in a stable condition in hospital.
Officers believe there were five people at the scene at the time of the incident and are now urging witnesses to get in touch.
