Woman seriously injured in hit and run

A woman has been taken to hospital after being seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident, police have said.
Officers were called at about 08:15 BST on Saturday to Hendrawalls Lane, Davidstow, near Camelford, to reports of a female pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. She was taken to Derriford hospital.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said the vehicle failed to stop at the collision site and has not been located.
The force has asked for any witnesses or those with information to get in contact.
