A group of men who took up dancing to help their physical and mental health are inviting others to join them on Wednesday for an open session.

The Outta Puff Daddys are 15 men aged over 40 who meet at the Marina Studios in Brighton.

They have been dancing together for over a decade

They are holding the session as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Leader Paul Jukes said: "We know more than most about the mental health benefits of moving our bodies regularly and we want other people to feel inspired to try something new that gets them moving.

“As well as dancing, the Outta Puff Daddys aim to get more people, particularly men, talking openly about their mental wellbeing.

"We all have mental health and yet the stigma of talking about times when we are struggling still causes so much shame, fear, doubt, isolation, and misunderstanding.

"Through our performances, talks and social media channels we aim to break that stigma and encourage people to take part in positive activities.”
