Guernsey's inflation rate continues to fall

The rate of inflation in Guernsey has slowed to 5.3%, according to States figures.
RPI inflation now stands at 2% lower than it was this time last year.
The figures include mortgage and interest payments, grocery shopping and the costs of parish rates and waste disposal.
Jersey's inflation rate is 5.7%, while the UK's stands at 2%.
The groups of goods and services that increased the most in price over the year within this calculation were fuel - which increased by 12.1%.
Housing costs including mortgages, rents, parish rates and waste disposal, increased by 10.5% over the same period.
The biggest quarterly increase was seen in the fares and other travel costs group, which increased by 3% due to increases in the costs of car hire, ferry and air fares.
