Woman in her 70s dies following crash

A woman in her 70s has died following a crash in Kent.
The incident happened at about 12:05 BST on Thursday at the exit of the Beach Street car park in Harbour Street, Folkestone.
Kent Police said a white Ford Transit van and the female pedestrian, who was seriously injured and died in hospital, were involved in the crash.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
