Man arrested over rape of teenager

A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in a Warwickshire park.
Police said they responded to reports of the incident in Caldecott Park, Rugby, on Wednesday night.
A 20-year-old man from Coventry has been arrested, and the area taped off for investigations.
Det Sgt Chloe Harrison said the girl was extremely distressed, and receiving support from specially-trained officers.
The arrest took place after CCTV operators scoured footage of the area, she said.
Det Sgt Harrison added: “There will be an increased policing presence in the area today and I would urge anyone with information or concerns to speak to one of our officers.”
