Arrest made after alleged Aberdeen sexual assault

An investigation was launched late on Sunday night

A man has been arrested after an alleged sexual assault in Aberdeen.

Police said the report was made about an incident at Broad Hill - near Aberdeen FC's Pittodrie Stadium - at about 22:00 on Sunday.

The area was cordoned off as an investigation was launched.

Police Scotland said a 27-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and that inquiries were ongoing.
