Four boys arrested in connection with a "violent incident" that left a teenager with lacerations have been released on bail.

The 17-year-old was found injured at the Nidd Viaduct, in Bilton, at about 16:45 BST on Wednesday and taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Two 17 year olds and a 15 year old had been arrested on suspicion of affray. Another boy, aged 17, was also arrested as part of enquiries.

Police said there continued to be a presence in the area and wider community.
