A man has been seriously injured after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a crash with a police car in Londonderry.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the crash happened close to Maydown PSNI Station shortly after 13:00 BST on Wednesday.
The motorcyclist, who is in his 60s, was taken to hospital for treatment for what police have described as serious injuries.
The PSNI said the driver of the police vehicle, a "contracted member of staff", was not injured.
“My thoughts are with the man involved and we have commenced a full investigation,” Ch Insp Luke Moyne said.
The PSNI has appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dash-cam footage of it, to contact police.
The Maydown Road, which was closed for several hours on Wednesday, has now reopened.
