A Lego fan event is taking place in Kent on Saturday.

The Maidstone Brick Festival has been designed for families, collectors and adult "builders".

Organisers say it will include speed building competitions, large displays and shops.

An event spokesperson said: "There will be some truly out-of-this-world displays at the event that you won’t want to miss."

Established in 2018, the Brick Festival is labelled as a "celebration of all things Lego" and sets up at sites across the UK.

The event will open at the Maidstone Leisure Centre from 10:00 BST to 16:00.

Other Brick Festivals are planned for Crawley, on 19 May, and Brighton, on 20 July.
