Boy suffers life-changing injuries in moped crash

A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries after a moped crash.
Police said they were called to the scene at Old Pant Road, Newbridge, in Caerphilly county, at about 08:20 BST on Wednesday.
The teenager is said to be in a stable condition.
Paramedics and the air ambulance service also attended.
Gwent Police has appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact the force.
