Murder charge after woman found stabbed

A man has been charged with murder, following the death of a woman who was discovered with serious stab wounds in Coventry.
The 50-year-old was found injured by police at an address in Long Close Avenue on Wednesday evening.
She died a short time later, West Midlands Police said.
The 57-year-old man appeared before Coventry Magistrates' Court on Friday. He was remanded in custody and is due at Warwick Crown Court on Monday.
