A Wiltshire school is celebrating after retaining its "good" rating following its latest Ofsted review.

Inspectors praised Princecroft Primary School in Warminster for its "flourishing pupils" who are "passionate about respecting and celebrating others".

Their report also said: "everyone is happy here at Princecroft".

The school said it was part of an "exciting" year for the school, which also includes a visit by Marc Rowland, the deputy director of the National Education Trust, who specialises in disadvantaged students.

However, inspectors did note assessment was not always used effectively when it comes to foundation subjects.

The school said pupils have also performed at London's O2 Arena, visited historical sites, and are encouraged to read at least 40 classical texts while at the school.
